The Theme: First Impression
The "First Impression" theme focuses on the immediate atmosphere and feeling of starting a micronation, capturing the transition from a private idea to a public reality. It is designed to be compatible with any art style, inviting submissions that range from raw pencil sketches, oil paintings, cinematic film clips and photography of spaces.
The gallery emphasizes the "vibe" of those initial moments, allowing artists to use any form — whether digital or on paper — to illustrate the spark of building something new.
Visual Language
Contrast — The raw versus the refined. Early sketches and drafts alongside final gallery presentations.
The Void — Pure black as the canvas of possibility. Every artwork emerges from darkness.
The Spark — Red as the first mark, the first boundary, the first declaration of intent.
The Archive — Each piece is treated as a diplomatic document, stamped, cataloged, and preserved.
